.
The other day I saw a documentary about a possible end of the world and it made me think about something.
If it will be for you to die in a year from now probably you`ll change some or many things in the way you live your life...You would want to do all those things that you didn`t do so far.
But what would you do if the entire world would end in one year? Would you change something?
As long as you can`t change something at least to delay that natural process of end - you`d probably barely change something or nothing in the way you live your life. You know why?
Because as long as there is a continuity of humans you and your life have a reason to be..., you`ll have something to leave behind: a memory, a child, a great thing that you have done. Your presence was not in vain. Even the most anonymous man that lived on this earth, with out any knowledge of reason for living, as long as he left a scratch on a stone, a child behind, a mastery - his existence is real.
But, if the stone, the child, any mastery is coming to an end in the same time as you - you`ll do nothing because there will be nothing. You`ll have no reason. You`ll live just for the sake of living.
Can you see how tight we are to the existence of others? Of humans specially, of life in general? As long as someday there will be somebody or something in the entire universe that will acknowledge your previous existence, your presence into this world wasn`t in vain.
Cogito ergo sum - I think, therefore I am transposed in Acknowledge my existence therefore my existence cannot be denied.
