Are you Unique?

.
In my previous session of Self-Improvement I identified you as “the One”. You, as a distinct individual, part of our Human race.

But, one can be similar to another. And only by the fact that we are part of the same Human class we must have some similar traits.

1. We all have a consciousness
2. Physically we may have some characteristics in common, genetically inherited
3. We have some attitudes, attributes, social endowments, and skills that are commons to humans, in a positive or negative way; and in different combinations

No, let’s touch this with some more details.

2. Have you heard of DNA?
DNA, or deoxyribonucleic acid, is the hereditary material used in the development and functioning of all living beings. The genotype is the specific genetic trait of an individual. Not all organisms with the same inherited genotype look or act the same way because environmental and developmental conditions can modify the structure. The combination of genes can influence the characteristic of an organism, or the phenotype.

3. Fallowing the Maslow Theory we have in common some other characteristics, or more exactly needs:
Physiological Needs: air, water, food, sleep
Safety Needs: we all need to feel secure- to have a job or a place to live in, to be healthy
Social Needs: we all need to be part of a group, of a community, to give and receive love
Esteem Needs: we all need recognition, attention, accomplishment and self-respect
Self-Actualization: the need for truth, justice and wisdom

Yes, but even if we all have these needs we manifest them differently. Some may want more food, some more love, and some more wisdom.
In our own persona it’s a lot of chemistry. The combination in each of us is unique.
So, in conclusion: We are built the same, but we are different. Aside from DNA, there is another aspect of the human body unique to every individual: the fingerprint.
It’s absolutely impossible that in this world exists another person completely identical to you – with the same combination. Not even twins are completely identical. And if it would be to have a human clone- a copy of your genotype code- guess what? He would have to live the same experiences as you did, in the same time with the contact – to be exactly as you are.

No one ever had the same combination of abilities, acquaintances, joys and sorrows or opportunities as You do. Even if you try to copy somebody else you’ll never be a perfect copy. So, just Be You!

Is this scary to be Unique? Do you feel all of the sudden awkward because you are different? Do you have the feeling of not fitting? Are you scared of others because they are different from you?

Don’t forget what I mentioned above- We do have common traits. So, you can work on that part to integrate with other humans. Build your passions!

You are part of a system, you are part of Nature. You are one unique piece in a puzzle, and without You the humankind image is incomplete. Leaving aside your personal purpose in life, think that Nature has brought You here to accomplish her own purpose- of being.

Treasure your uniqueness. Enjoy it and share it!

“Today you are You, that is truer than true. There is no one alive who is Youer than You.” Dr. Seuss

I think that is true and false in same time, and I also think that it depends on how you look at it. I want to keep it short, so if you think of yourself as an ansamble, it's a pretty big chance you're not unique, which is really okay. But we can be certain we are unique in an irreplaceable way for some individuals in our lives, such as family or friends, which I find is more important. Very interesting posts=D

Thinking that we are unique is putting us apart from the others… so let them say that we are unique… being unique comes from the interaction with all that is around us… it’s so strange …
